synonyms is a chrome extension that allows you to quickly find synonyms and, if you select a word in the current page, replace it with one click:

The official google page is here.

To my knowledge this doesn't violate thesaurus.com's TOS, but who the f' knows? I'm chromed out for the day. but chrome extensions defintely have the upper hand over firefox ones, in my opinion. Firefox offers greater customization in their API, but chrome is catching up. But, the main difference to me is the write/build/test cycle; it's so much easier in chrome: For firefox (unless there's a better way I don't about) this consists of writing, then building an XPI, installing that XPI by opening it, then restarting the browser. Sometimes I could replace the installed in the appropriate folder, but I'm not positive this really refreshed it everytime. For chrome, you can install an unpacked -- i.e. from a local directory. Then to re-intsall, you can just click Reload and don't have to restart your browser. The chrome package is also much more flexible, and you don't have to follow ridiculously strict guidelines, like Mozilla requires. Lastly, debugging is world's easier in chrome. Thumbs up for Chrome.

Also, very happy that I can actually do something meaningful tomorrow (or later today?)
