caltunes

This is a tool to show the concert dates of everyone in your iTunes playlist. You can fill the table in one of three ways:

  1. View all the dates for all the bands in your iTunes library
  2. View all the dates for all shows for a particular city
  3. View all the dates for all the bands in your iTunes library for a particular city

usage

To use it fill the table by clicking one of the buttons:

ButtonAction
All bands  View all the dates for all the bands in your iTunes library
All bands from  View all the dates for all shows for a particular city
Your bands from  View all the dates for all the bands in your iTunes library for a particular city

For the bottom two, you need to enter a city and state, too. Then after it's propogated your click 'Output' to write these out to an ical file so you can import it into iCal or google calendar or any other calendar program using this format. To iCal on a Mac you have to save it with an .ics extension. Then open iCal, go to File -> Import, and point to that file.

This is written in java, so you'll have to have java to run it.

All the concert information is taken from pollstar.com and belongs to them. By using this your agree (as I do) that wouldn't click any ad in the first place, so using a third party tool to grab their content doesn't change anything. OK, have fun!
