ipod fork

This is a tool to sync your ipod with your bloglines account, pitchfork's forkcast so you can listen to some good tunes on your ride to work or whatever, download directions from mapquest, read New York Times articles, and google calendar. See rssipod for the bloglines part. For the pitchfork part, run it and select the music and videos you want to download.

usage

Launch the program and select the module you wish to use

  • For Bloglines enter your user name and password and all your subscriptions will appear on your IPod under Extras / Notes / RSS.
  • For Pitchfork the latest audio and video for today's forkcast will appear on your IPod under Extras / Notes / Pitchfork. Example
  • For Mapquest enter the URL of the Mapquest directions you wish to download and these directions will appear on your IPod under Extras / Notes / Mapquest in a file titled by the directions for which you searched. Example:
  • For The New York Times launch and select the sections you wish to read and all those articles will appear under Extras / Notes / NYTimes in a file titled by the directions for which you searched. Example:
  • For The Google Calendar launch and input your login name. Example:
  • For the Hype machine launch and all the audio on the front page will be available for download.
